Throughout the site, the terms ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ refer to Brighton Chimney Sweeps. Brighton Chimney Sweeps offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated herein. These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, suppliers and / or contributors of content.

By visiting, accessing or using any part of our website and / or purchasing something from us, you have engaged our services and agree to be bound by our Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to any or all of our Terms & Conditions, then you should not engage our services or purchase anything from us and you should leave the website now.

You may not use our products or services for any illegal or unauthorised purpose nor may you, through the use of any of our services, violate any laws (including but not limited to copyright laws).

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms & Conditions by posting updates and / or changes to our website. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes. A breach or violation of any of our Terms & Conditions will result in an immediate termination of any or all services that you have engaged in.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.


We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, more complete or more timely sources of information. Any reliance on the material on this site is at your own risk.

We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the services we provide, products that we sell or content contained within the website, including any written text and imagery, without express written permission from us.


When purchasing from our online shop or booking our services online, you will be required to provide payment using a debit or credit card. By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions you confirm that the card you use is yours, or that you have permission from the card holder to use their card to make the payment.

We do not capture any credit card details on this website. If you purchase a product or service from us you will be redirected to PayPal to process your payment. More information on how we manage your personal information can be found on our Privacy Policy page. PayPal have their own Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy with regards to any personal information captured or processed via their website or online tools.

You understand that the submission of your personal information, i.e. information that you provide on contact forms within the site, may be transferred un-encrypted.


We do not manufacture any products ourselves, we source them from reputable partners and work with our partners to deliver our services.

We set all prices for the products that we sell, often lower than recommended retail prices. We are able to achieve this as we do not have retail premises and only sell online so we are able to keep costs down.

All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change without notice at any time. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any service or products we offer without notice at any time.
We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of any aspect of our service or any products that we sell.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear in our online shop. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate.

We are a partner of Bolney Stoves and re-sell their product range, including wood burning stoves, multi-fuel burning stoves and stove accessories.
We are a partner of GW Sweeps and CM Sweeps. They are HETAS trained and accredited stove installers and we recommend their stove installation service.
We are a partner of Classic Mantels and re-sell their fireplace surround product range.
We are a partner of The Chimney Balloon Company and re-sell their Chimney Balloons.
We are a partner of Strong Oak and re-sell their seasoned hardwood logs.

All of our partners have their own Terms & Conditions of service and Privacy Policy. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for the services they provide, we offer no guarantee or warranty on any of their products that we sell. All stoves come with manufacturers warranties.


1. Delivery Date
When you order your stove we will contact you asap to arrange a suitable delivery date. Delivery can usually be within 48 hours of ordering (excluding weekends) but it will depend on whether we have the stove in stock. Stock levels change throughout the year, we are particularly busy throughout the winter months. We will confirm the earliest delivery date possible when we contact you.
2. Delivery Process
If you are arranging your own installation, or you are outside of the area we cover for installations, your stove will be delivered by Pallet Force.
It is your responsibility to check and sign for the stove when it arrives. If there is any damage to the stove you should not accept it from the delivery driver.
The delivery service from Pallet Force is called ‘Kerbside’. This means they deliver the stove to the kerb outside of your property. The delivery drive will usually bring the stove into your property if you ask them to.
3.Delivery Times
Deliveries by Pallet Force take place between 10am and 5pm Monday to Friday. On the morning of your delivery, your local depot will call you to arrange a time slot during that day.
It is important that you are available to take delivery at the agreed time. If you arrange a time slot but when the driver arrives no one is available to take delivery, the driver will wait a short time and then return the stove to the local Pallet Force depot. You will need to contact them to arrange another delivery and there may be a charge for this.
4. Delivery Costs
Pallet Force deliveries that are covered by our local Pallet Force depot are free of charge. The cost of delivery to the rest of the UK is determined by your postcode. See the Installation Survey & Quote tab on each stove page for more details.

Fireplace Surrounds
Fireplace surrounds are delivered for free to mainland Uk addresses, directly from the factory. We will; contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date and time.

Chimney Balloons
Chimney balloons are sent by Royal Mail and should take a couple of days to arrive. Delivery costs are based on weight and are calculated when you go to checkout. For example, delivery of up to 3 balloons costs £3 and up to 6 balloons costs £4. If you want to collect from our location in Hove, choose the collection option in checkout and call us to arrange a suitable time.

Logs are delivered to your door by Strong Oak, a local log supplier and they will stack the logs on the ground floor of your property as directed by you, within reason.
Delivery is Free to much of East and West Sussex including to Brighton, Hove, Portslade, Lewes, Haywards Heath and the surrounding areas. Simply enter your postcode on the checkout page and any delivery fee will be calculated. Strong Oak will contact you to arrange a suitable day and time for delivery of your logs.


We are a responsible business and believe in providing a duty of care to our customers and suppliers. Much of our business is through recommendation and that is due to the high standard of service we deliver. We are proud of our reputation and we work with our customers and suppliers to resolve any issues or disputes regarding any product or service purchased through us.

If there are any issues with any service or product that we deliver or sell, it must be reported in writing within 14 days of receipt. Stoves and fireplace surrounds go through rigorous quality checks before leaving the factory and we will accept no responsibility for any damage that occurs after delivery. Any concerns must be raised immediately so we can take appropriate action to find a resolution.
